we took a hike in newport back bay
we wandered in the sun shine. and off the recommended path.
we saw SUPER LARGE plants (seriously this thing is like taller than brad, who is 6'3'')
and generally just loved the sunshine and each other.

gosh i love when friends come visit and we go to sea world!
kelli & dylan, ash & matix, steph & zach & linds & brad + all you can eat at sea world= really great idea!! we ate at every food place just bc WE COULD. in fact, zach got like 6 "red, white & blue" jellos & only ate the blue. brad ate like 4 pizzas. unlimited drinks. steph loves chocolate cake.
i think we all felt sick after.
oh, and note to self: don't wear hoodie under tight cute coat. cute coat turns into looking really really fat. sorry bout that.
i love my friends. new and old. it was a completely stellar weekend, really! :)

brad got a new phone.
he needed it. his other one had stopped recieving emails (necessary for work) and also stopped receiving phone calls. hmmmm....
it has mobile facebook. he's been posting things like a crazy man!! updating his facebook status like 5 times a day. he never really spent any time on facebook before, and until last friday he had only updated his status once EVER: the day we get engaged. :)
so...
this morning i was very frustrated and took a break from scowling at my computer to call and vent to my husband. i probably wasn't as nice as i could've been. nothing i was upset about was his fault. i was not pleasant- i just needed someone to listen.
i was feeling like a pretty whiny crappy wife. even last night! i was grumpy when he woke me up to tell me to move my face off the book i was "reading" and get under the covers. and now this morning... i tell myself i need to be nicer & apologize.
